Owner of Tiki Tubing Back in Jail After Violating Protective Order
The owner of Tiki Tubing in Denham Springs who was arrested for molestation early this year is back in custody.
67-year-old John Fore was booked in May of 2022 into the Livingston Parish Jail on charges of sexual battery on a juvenile. He was released on a $25,000 bond.
Days later, his wife, Patricia Fore, was also booked on the same charge. The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said the charges stemmed from two different complaints.
However, on Wednesday, John Fore was arrested again for violating a protective order. It is unclear if the two cases are connected though.
It has been a tumultuous year for Fore. Tiki Tubing made the headlines several times in the last year, most of it not the press a business wants.
There were several reports of tubers getting trapped or injured in the Amite River. And at least deaths were reported last summer, including that of Keith Hilliard, the father of an LSU baseball player.
Hilliard's family has since filed a lawsuit against Fore alleging negligence in Hilliard's wrongful death.
