I remember the wise words my Dad said to me after I tried out for the baseball team when I was 11 years old. When I asked him how I did, he replied, "Son there has to be somebody up in the stands to watch the game, and it looks like that somebody is going to be you". With that my dreams of playing first base came crashing down but my desire to sit and talk about baseball and other things was born.
