As kids we all wanted to get the "good candy" for Halloween. You know what I'm talking about -- basically anything that had the words "fun size" in it.

Well, if your children are looking to rack up when they head out to trick-or-treat this year, they should head to the houses that belong to people between the ages of 50 and 68.

Apparently, that's the folks who give out the best candy and are least likely to run out.

Why is this so? A spokeswoman from the National Confectioners Association says, "The baby boom generation was the first to celebrate Halloween the way we do today...now they're the first generation of grandparents who have done it."

So when they combine their nostalgia and grandparent instincts, they buy massive amounts of good, quality candy.

Plus, they don't have kids to take trick-or-treating and they're a lot less likely to be heading out to a raging Halloween party.
