Police Identify Man Killed in Officer-Involved Shooting in Lafayette

State Police have identified the man killed Monday night in Lafayette in an officer-involved shooting.

Troopers say the man killed has been identified as 40-year-old Jeremy Todd Baham of Lafayette.

The shooting happened Monday night at the Cypress Bend Townhouses on Kaliste Saloom Road in Lafayette. Officers reportedly got into a struggle with Baham and that is when he was fatally wounded.

One Lafayette officer was injured in this incident but did not receive life-threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital.
