On Sunday, Pope Francis and two children symbolically released two white doves from the Vatican in front of tens of thousands of people in St. Peter's Square.

The doves were released to promote peace in the Ukraine where deadly anti-protests are going on.

Unfortunately, as soon as the doves were released, they were attacked by some other birds!

A seagull swooped in on one of the doves while a crow attacked the other. The dove that was attacked by the seagull made it out with just a few feathers missing while the other one was not so lucky.

The crow and the seagull then flew out of sight, still fighting.

Where's the love, man?
