Reba McEntire is back again! The country legend will return as host of the ACM Awards on April 7.

It's the second-straight year McEntire has hosted the ACM Awards after multi-year break that followed over a decade of hosting by herself or with co-hosts like Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan. A commercial that aired during the 2019 Grammy Awards did not mention a co-host for 2019.

McEntire's hosting performance in 2018 was nearly universally praised. She brought light-hearted, non-political humor back to awards shows that had seen falling ratings as the content became more and more divisive. Aside from a few jokes about the lack of women getting airplay in country music, it was a family show that still packed a punch. More than anything the Country Music Hall of Famer let the awards and performances stand above all else.

Little else is known about the 2019 ACM Awards other than the date, television network (CBS) and place. Once again the ACMs will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Nominations have not yet been revealed. Last year Chris Stapleton and Miranda Lambert were the big winners, although Jason Aldean took the night's big prize, Entertainer of the Year. It was his second-straight win in that category.
