Zion, or no Zion—AD still wants out.

For a moment it seemed as if the New Orleans Pelicans could have possibly saved the franchise AND their superstar player Anthony Davis when they won the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft lottery.

The Pels only had a 6% chance of nabbing the top pick and ultimately dibs on the top prospect, Duke phenom Zion Williamson.

While many speculated that this move could sway Anthony Davis to stay in the Big Easy, a report from Shas Charania of The Athletic quickly squashed the insane idea of Zion and AD on the same court in the same uniform.

So, there you have it. Just liked he requested in January, Anthony Davis still wants to be traded. Even the idea of teaming up with Zion wasn't enough for him to even consider staying. Pels fans won't like hearing that, but at least they could look at a new face of their franchise, or an opportunity to lure more players to New Orleans that would lead to solid contention next season.

Only time will tell, but New Orleans is definitely sitting on some solid options right now. But for AD, that's (still) all, folks.
