Rolling Stone Magazine has come out with their "Best Albums of 2013: Mid-Year Report", and we are happy to see several country music artists are on the list!

From the Nashville Tennessean : RS says Pistol Annies' sophomore album is "full of attitude and guffaws," praises the "catchy, biting lyrics" of Kacey Musgraves' "Same Trailer, Different Park," and argues Annies member Ashley Monroe's solo album "Like a Rose" is "even better" than her famous trio's debut.

Nashville stars Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert and Alan Jackson made the cut via their collaborations with John Fogerty on his "Wrote a Song for Everyone," and Kanye West's "Yeezus" - featuring a vocal sample from Music City's own Brenda Lee - was also selected. Even a few years ago, it wouldn't have been possible to have Nashville artists on this list, so YAY for country music!
