Four people have been arrested and nine ATVs have been returned to their owners according to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz via a press release.

The department's spokesman Eddie Thibodeaux reports that a tip led them to find three stolen ATVs on a property on Jolivette Road. The two people arrested in connection with those crimes are Dangello Perrodin of Opelousas and James Lanclos of Port Barre.

In the second set of arrests, Thibodeaux says they arrested a juvenile and Shane Jolivette of Sunset.

Thibodeaux says that these thefts happened in the northern portion of St. Landry Parish and that they were able to recover several of the vehicles in Melville.

The investigation is ongoing, and Thibodeaux says to expect more arrests in connection with the cases.
