Shaking Out the Good Stuff: 2024 Lafayette Parish Livestock Show is Jan 19-20 at Blackham Coliseum

The 44th annual Lafayette Parish 4-H/FFA Livestock Show and Sale will be held this Friday and Saturday, January 20-21, 2024.

The event is open to the public on both days.

Exhibitors will show their animals on Friday, January 19th. Categories will include cattle, swine, sheep, goats, dairy, and poultry.

Poultry showmanship starts at 8:30 am in the Coliseum and the small animal show begins at 9:00 am in the back barn. The beef show begins around 1:30 pm, after the animal show is complete.

Some exhibitors will be selling their animals on Saturday, January 20th. Buyer registration is at 8:00 am and the public is invited to attend.

The live auction will be for the animals, plus there will be a silent auction and cake auction. The market animal sale begins at 9:30 am.

The benefactors of the event are the parish 4-H/FFA programs and your contributions are tax-deductible.
