Shooting in Lafayette on Mardi Gras Day Leaves One Injured
A shooting in Lafayette on Mardi Gras Day left one man wounded.
According to the Lafayette Police Department, officers responded to a shooting at the 200 block of High Meadows Boulevard that occurred around 4:30pm.
The victim who was only identified as a 28-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A "possible suspect" was taken into custody for questioning but was not identified.
The incident remains under investigation.
