Most of us football fans were watching our beloved New Orleans Saints last night. But there was another game last night that college football fans may have been watching.

It was a Pac-12 game between UCLA and Stanford. The fact that Stanford won handily 56-35 was not the part that had everyone talking. Oh no, it was the catch that happened on a trick play early in the third quarter that had folks proclaiming it the "Catch of the Year".

So a running back lined up at quarterback then pitched it to a receiver who followed that with a toss back to the real quarterback who then underthrew a bomb on purpose to a receiver who caught the ball behind a defender's back.

Got all that? Whew!

Good thing we have video or I'd never have believed what occurred.

"I saw the ball in the air just for a little bit," said receiver Francis Owusu who caught the improbable touchdown. "I wrapped my arms around him, and I felt it. And then I squeezed my arms around [the ball] as hard as I could."
