Louisiana Drivers Eligible For State Farm Dividend Checks

(KMDL-FM) State Farm Mutual has begun issuing dividend payments to customers nationwide, especially in Louisiana. Just under one-third of all insured motorists in Louisiana have a policy with State Farm.

The company recently announced that a $5 billion dividend payment would be going out to qualifying customers. And for those who qualify in Louisiana, the amount of that check could be $100 or more.

Who Qualifies For a State Farm Dividend Check?

The details of your policy with State Farm will determine the actual amount of money in your specific dividend check. If you have multliple polices on multiple vehicles, that could also affect the final amount of your dividend payment, if you qualify.

The $5 billion cash-back dividend is the largest payment ever made in the company's 100-year history. According to a July press release from State Farm, the amount of your dividend check is based on a percentage of the premium paid for each qualifying policy in 2025. In most cases, the percentage will range from 4% to 10%. The percentages will vary from state to state.

You will be notified if you qualify for a dividend check in one of two ways. You will either receive a letter via the United States Postal Service, or you will receive an email. The email account that you should be looking for is this one: donotreply@e.sfdividend.com.

In the email, State Farm customers will be given instructions on how to access the dividend payment site. You will also be able to choose how you would like to receive that dividend. If you don't have an email on file, you will simply be mailed a check to the address State Farm has on file for your policy.

If you have a question or a concern, you may dial the Dividend Customer Contact Center at 1-888-808-9532. Because the distribution covers more than 49 million auto vehicles, the payment process will take several months to be completed nationwide.
