‘Storytime From Space’ is What #StayAtHome Kids Need Right Now

If you, like a lot of parents, are having trouble occupying your kids during this unprecedented quarantine, then we've got some good news for you. Your little ones can watch astronauts from the International Space Station read children’s books and perform science demonstrations. Which, let's be honest, is pretty fascinating.

'Storytime from Space' is free, and, according to SpaceStationExplorer.org 'offers a delightful combination of science, literacy, and entertainment through its library of free, family-friendly videos.' So far thirteen children's books have been taken into space, and read by British, French, Japanese, and American astronauts.

And, a new feature will soon make an appearance, Science Time From Space, which will be 'educational demonstrations that complement the science concepts covered in the books.' This is just the kind of thing we need right now, to make sure our kids don't lose their sense of wonder in the world during a pandemic with no end in sight.
