I think the reason so many people in Acadiana have a lot of the same favorites is because they have strong roots and their families have traditions that they've kept for years.

Everyone has one of those long work/school days where the last thing you feel like doing is cooking a nice, homemade meal for yourself.  The easiest thing to do is go through drive-thru and order something cheap and unhealthy. I have a recipe so simple and still gourmet, you won't believe it.
