D.L. Menard's "The Back Door" turned 55 this year. But there are five things you probably don't know about the most popular and recognizable Cajun song ever.

The folks over at Best Cajun Dubs recently took DL Menard's "The Back Door" and overdubbed it to a scene from "Tom & Jerry" and it just gets funnier the more I watch it.

The Pride of Acadiana Marching Band did something special for this year's homecoming performance. It was a bit of a tribute to Louisiana.

Mr. Menard's family will receive visitors beginning on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Family Life Church, 2223 Dulles Drive in Lafayette from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m.
