The Possum turns 80 years old today, and I'm sure that no one is as suprised as him that he made it this far! George has seen arrests, drug and alcohol addiction, turbulent marriages, and still managed to be one of the most beloved and respected vocalists in country music history...

I can't think of a nicer suprise than having one of your hero's walk out onstage while you are performing one of their songs-Even if YOU are one of the biggest stars in the world! Way to go-you've still got it, Possum!
