Road conditions will be improving across South Louisiana today. However, the streets are still treacherous this morning. Here is the updated list of closures for Thursday morning in South Louisiana.

It's going to be another soggy workday around Acadiana, and due to overnight showers, we already have numerous road closures due to flooding.

The flat deck bridge on E. Broussard Road just southeast of Kaliste Saloom Road will be closed on Thursday, February 8, for bridge maintenance.

I'm no scientist, but I can't help but think the liquid nitrogen can't be good for the structural integrity of the pavement.

As the holiday traffic starts to reach it's apex, a lane closure on Johnston St. today will be adding to the fun.
