It is a busy week on Interstate 10 as projects are scheduled for several areas in Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes.

The alternating lane closures will affect both directions on I-10 beginning next week.

On Thursday and Friday nights of this week, the east and westbound inside lanes of I-10 on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge from mile marker 117 to mile marker 128 will have alternating lane closures from 8 PM until 6 AM each night.

DOTD asks drivers to be cautious in the construction zone.

More repairs could be needed today and that could lead to single lane closures.

There are two road/lane closures happening on Interstate 10 this week – one closure in Iberville Parish and the other in Calcasieu Parish.

The lane closures will be from 8:00 p.m until 4:00 a.m the following morning. These closures are necessary for paving operations.

Beginning Monday, October 26, until Thursday, December 3, I-10 will have full and intermittent single lane closures.

Left-turn lane to be permanently closed at Celebrity Drive. Expect delays in the early morning hours this morning.

The lane closure will likely last until noon today.

It's unknown how long this move will take.

Sunday, June 9, 2013, the 1-10 overpass, located at Exit 97 (Church Point/Rayne) will have alternating lane closures in the westbound direction to allow crews to repair guardrail on overpass. The lane closures are predicted to take place from 6 a.m. until 12 p.m., weather permitting.
