Terrance Simien to be Honored at 4th Annual ‘Horses and Harmony’

The 4th annual 'Horses and Harmony' will be held at Evangeline Downs on Tuesday, July 29th to celebrate two of St Landry Parish's biggest industries - the horse industry, and of course, music! The honoree for this year's event will be two time Grammy Award winner Terrance Simien, who will will receive the Hadley J. Castille Music Award. Also being honored at this festive event will be equine businessman Daniel Lyons of Opelousas, who will receive the Chamber's H&H Equine Industry Award. Musical entertainment will be provided by Geno Delafose and French Rockin' Boogie, and tickets are available now.for $25 per person.and must be purchased in advance by 5:00pm on July 21, 2014; no tickets will be sold at the door.
