The Mercredi Show on as Scheduled Tonight Following Sunday’s Clubhouse Fire at Pelican Park
Ever since a fire broke out at the clubhouse at Pelican Park in Carencro, folks have been wondering if The Mercredi Show would have to be canceled.
Well, rest assured, it's on as scheduled tonight.
Simply put, the stage is far away from the fire that damaged the park's centrally located concession stand. The stage, viewing area, and concession stand for The Mercredi Show is located outside of one of the field's outfield fence, so tonight's event is free from any issues.
Tonight's show will feature music from Mercredi Show favorites High Performance. The Cajun band will play from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
As always, The Mercredi Show is free for all ages to attend. Make sure to bring your blanket or chairs and come pass a good time.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Please leave your ice chests and pets at home.
This week was supposed to wrap up the spring season of The Mercredi Show. However, there will be one more week to enjoy live music.
Gregg Martinez & the Delta Kings had to be postponed last week due to inclement weather. They're rescheduled for next Wednesday, May 24th, and will wrap up the spring season in style.
