Guy Fieri was in Louisiana not that long ago, and he got his grub on as he chowed down at some great locally-owned restaurants to spotlight on his hit Food Network series "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives."

And in the month of April, we will see all three of those restaurants on the small screen.

Fieri and his crew shot the episodes while he was in the Bayou State in February for Super Bowl-related events and other appearances.

The next three Fridays, we'll get to see each of the respective Louisiana restaurants highlighted on the show. All of the restaurants are in Baton Rouge.

The episodes will air at 8:00 pm each Friday.

The first one to be featured is Phil's Oyster Bar & Seafood Restaurant, which is located at 4335 Perkins Road. The episode it's on is titled "Flavortown Finds."

As part of the synopsis of the episode, Phil's is described as follows:

There's serious seafood in Baton Rouge, crossing Creole crawfish with cheesecake and chargrillin' out-of-bounds oysters.

Then, on Friday, April 11, Dempsey's will be featured. That restaurant is located at 1380 Coursey Blvd, and the episode is called "Sandwich Shenanigans."

Fieri got a chance to grub on some real Cajun food for this one.

...a Baton Rouge joint is puttin' their stamp on po-boys, dishing out boudin balls with remoulade, plus rockin' roast beef and shrimp with a Creole kick.

And finally, Iverstine Farms Butcher at 7731 Perkins Road will be the last restaurant featured in an episode titled "Sandwiches, Seafood and Sweets."

The synopsis for this episode reads in part:

Guy Fieri's gettin' into next-level seafood, sammies and more! First, a farm-to-table joint in Baton Rouge is knocking out a killer Cuban and going hog wild with headcheese...

Fieri was very complimentary of Baton Rouge and the culinary scene while in the state's Capitol. "You've got the greatest food scene. You've got the nicest people -- a big, small town," he raved.
