Throwback – When Garth Brooks Wore a Jo-EL Sonnier Shirt on TV [VIDEO]

We are blessed to have our own music superstars here in Louisiana, and our cajun and zydeco music is recognized and loved around the world.

Acadiana's own Grammy award winner Jo-EL Sonnier posted a throwback video from a 1990 interview with Garth Brooks on the nationally syndicated 'Crook and Chase' TV show, which was on the Nashville Network.

Garth is wearing a tee shirt from Joel's 1990 tour, as he talks about his upcoming show at Texas Stadium. You can see the video below. Even host Charlie Chase gives a shout out to Jo-EL Sonnier. We love it!
