55 years after one of the most beloved books in American history came out, the sequel to the Pulitzer Prize winning 'To Kill a Mockingbird' will be released on Tuesday, July, 14. 'Go Set a Watchman' takes place in the 1950s, 20 years after the setting for the original book written by now reclusive author Harper Lee.The first chapter is now available online, and we're hearing that the pre order for this novel is the biggest ever, and we mean EVER. Of course, the book was made into an Academy Award winning movie in 1962 starring Gregory Peck, as Atticus Finch and Mary Badham as Scout.

Evidently, the first chapter reveals some bombshell info, so read at your own risk - we aren't going to give out any spoilers here! This is one of the most eagerly anticipated sequesl in literary history, and I can't help but think that Harper Lee's childhood friend, and basis for her character 'Dill', Truman Capote, would have been proud. I can't WAIT to read it!
