Tom Cruise Attends LSU-Florida In Death Valley, His First College Football Game Ever [PHOTO]
In addition to getting a big win over Florida on Saturday night, LSU's Tiger Stadium was buzzing with excitement over superstar actor Tom Cruise being in attendance.
Cruise created quite the stir amongst fans and members of the media as he experienced the first college football game of his life, this according to Advocate sportswriter Scott Rabalais.
The Hollywood A-lister hung out, at times sipping Community Coffee, in the suite of LSU Tigers Athletic Director Joe Alleva. The suite is located directly next to the press box, so to say Cruise's presence was a "distraction" to those covering the game would be an understatement.
As far as why Cruise was there, he is currently filming the sequel to his 2012 film, Jack Reacher in New Orleans—so Baton Rouge is literally a short hour drive away.
If this was the first college football game that he attended, he chose a good one as two undefeated teams faced off with No. 6 LSU topping No. 8 Florida 35-28, thanks to a fourth-quarter trick play.
Hopefully he taught Leonard Fournette his famous line from Jerry Maguire for when pro teams come knocking in a couple years.
