Two Arrested For Skateboarding Stunt Down I-210 Bridge in Lake Charles
A 26-year-old man and his "accomplice" are facing up to 15 years in prison for skateboarding down the I-210 bridge in Lake Charles as a stunt and then posting the video onto social media.
Louis McGlone of Sulphur was captured on video skateboarding down the bridge by Lindsey Hulett, 34, of Lake Charles. The incident took place on Sunday, December 22.
The two were charged with aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce. If convicted, they could each face up to 15 years in prison.
"The video showed the creation of a hazardous situation for the participants as well as motorists on the bridge," stated Louisiana State Police in a press release.
The video below is what McGlone posted to his Facebook page. It has since gone viral, collecting about 50,000 views as of this posting.
This skateboarding stunt down the I-210 bridge is not a first. A video surfaced a few years ago of a man nicknamed "Flash" who now infamously went down the same bridge back in 1971.
