US 90 Lane Closure in Lafayette, St. Martin Parishes Begins Today

Attention Acadiana drivers! Today, Monday, February 10, 2014, US 90 will be reduced to one lane alternating in the eastbound and westbound directions. Make sure this does not interfere with your daily travels. 

The lane closures is due to median shoulder work between La 3073 Ambassador Caffery near the City of Broussard and Wall Road in the City of Youngsville. The road work will occur Monday through Saturday, from 7:00 am. to 5:30 pm. This portion of the project is expected to be completed by Monday, February 24, 2014- weather permitting. All lanes will be opened at night and on Sundays.

Wall Road near Youngsville in St. Martin Parish will continue to be closed between US 90 and Petroleum Parkway in order to reconstruct the intersection of Wall Road with US 90. This work will occur Monday through Saturday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m..  The road work is expected to be completed and reopened Friday, March 14, 2014 - weather permitting.

No detour is necessary for the Wall Road portion of the work. Emergency vehicles have access to the area via Petroleum Parkway Extension. Local traffic from Petroleum Parkway will be maintained in the vicinity of the Wall Road construction.
