Wait….Don’t Take a Picture of Your Car or House Key, Why?

It is amazing to think that right now scammers are working on their latest scam. They are doing that, or they are working on a change to a current scam they have running.

It always amazes me how crafty scammers can be in trying to get their hands on our money. The latest "heads-up" on a scam that is working well for scammers has to do with our car keys and keys to our homes.

If you just have a key fob with no actual key for your car, this doesn't apply to you, but if you still have a physical key to turn on your car, you need to read this. Same thing for anyone who has a house key.

Digital expert, Kim Komando, has a guy who researched exactly how this can happen. This guy, Jeremiah Burton, had recently posted a picture of his car key and started getting warnings about why he shouldn't do that. He researched and then did.

You will totally understand it, once you think about what you need. You need a picture of the key, artificial intelligence software, find a key cutter, and a mold kit or 3D printer, and you are in business.

I love technology, and I love AI, but here is one of the downsides of all the progress we have made in this world with our personal lives due to technology. All you need to do to put yourself in danger is let a picture of the key get out on social media.
