Le Festival de Mardi Gras a Lafayette at Cajun Field will once again be the center for great family fun around the most unique Louisiana holiday -- Fat Tuesday!

The festivities will run Friday, February 9th through Mardi Gras, February 13th and features carnival rides and games, a wide variety of live music and great Cajun food. Plus, all the parades wrap up at Cajun Field while passing through the festival grounds.

One of the highlights of the festival is always the great live music on the My Rouses Soundstage. And this year won't disappoint as on Monday, February 12th we proudly present hot country artist Walker Hayes!

You know Walker best from his current top 10 hit "You Broke Up Me" (which coincidentally includes the lyrics, "Don't start rainin' on my Mardi Gras parade for a minute").

Walker Hayes just released his latest album "boom." which features "You Broke Up With Me" as the lead single.

There will be no figurative raining on his parade as you can expect Walker on stage before the Queens Parade makes its way to Cajun Field.

Kicking off the evening will be Johnathan Cochran and then wrapping up the night is Krossfyre. (Exact band start times to be announced soon.)

While the complete music lineup for the festival has not been totally unveiled some of the other performers announced so far include Wayne Toups, Dustin Sonnier, The Chee Weez and Chris Ardoin.

As always, the music at the Mardi Gras Festival is free for all ages to enjoy. There is a $10 gate fee for parking.
