Watch: Lafayette High Student Sets Pole Vault Record [Video]
Lafayette High junior Armand "Mondo" Duplantis set an all-time national high school, age group and meet record in the pole vault at the New Balance National Indoor Championships on Saturday in New York City.
Duplantis was the national pole vaulting record holder for high school freshmen two years ago, sophomore last year, and now juniors, clearing 19.1 feet.
