Back in 2009, a 22-year-old woman named Chelsea Clair went to a car show near Indianapolis where she met 19-year-old Kyle Froelich.

At the time, Kyle's kidneys were failing and the car show was to raise money for his treatment. Chelsea and Kyle had never met before but she had heard about him through a mutual friend. On the spot, she offered to give him one of her kidneys!

Kyle had many offers from family and friends but none of them were matches so he wasn't all that hopeful. However, Chelsea followed through, got tested and turned out to be a match.

Then after her mom desperately tried to talk her out of it, she went through with the surgery six months later and the transplant was a success.

And then a relationship budded out of the whole thing! Yep, the two began dating shortly afterwards. Then earlier this month the couple actually got married.

Kyle said it's hard to explain the kind of bond they have and that she is his "best friend".

In an interview with the Indianapolis Star, Chelsea said she HAD to marry him.  "I have to make sure he takes care of that [kidney]."
