The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns will play six Saturday home games in 2015, according to the schedule released today by the University and the Sun Belt Conference.

In addition, the Cajuns will once again have two nationally televised games, both on the road, with a Tuesday night ESPN2 and a Thursday night game at South Alabama on ESPNU.

Once again this year, the Cajuns will play all of their non-conference games before opening Sun Belt play Oct. 10th when Texas State visits Cajun Field.

The Cajuns will open the 2015 season on Saturday, September 5th with their first ever trip to Commonwealth Stadium to take on the Kentucky Wildcats.  The home opener will be the following week against Northwestern State in the annual Herbert Heymann Football Classic.

The Cajuns’ open date will be the weekend of September 19th and will be followed by a home game against Akron on September 26th and a trip to Louisiana Tech on October 3rd.

The two nationally televised contests will be at Arkansas State on Tuesday, October 20th and Thursday, November 12th at South Alabama.

Kickoff times will be announced at a later date.
