We are all feeling the crunch in the wallet when we go to the gas pumps these days. As much as love my Chevy Silverado, $80 to fill that puppy up, well, sucks! But there are some glass half full people out there who think there are some positives to come out of high gas prices.

MSN Money's Lynn Mucken believes one of the benefits of higher gas prices is that people drive less, thus fewer people dying on the roads. Mucken goes on to make points about the fact that there's less congestion on the roadways, less pollution and more focus by the automakers for fuel efficient vehicles.

With the good comes the bad...and vice versa.
