The Ragin' Cajun football team has their collective eyes on a Sun Belt Conference championship. What stands in the way is a clash with the Arkansas State Red Wolves. I hear there is going to be a large contingent of Cajuns fans making the trek up to Jonesboro in the northeast corner of Arkansas. Now I'm going out on a limb and thinking that most of our Cajun die-hards have never been to Jonesboro (unless they lost some cruel bet).  So to help you road trippers heading up to Natural State, we've compiled a riveting list of places for you to see and fun stuff for you to do! Enjoy!

The Bill and Alice Nix Petting Zoo

On the campus of Arkansas State University

Be sure to stop by and visit this amazing Petting Zoo! Raccoons, squirrels, and pigs; they shouldn’t bite too hard. Sorry guys, you can’t pet the co-eds.

The Greater Jonesboro Reception Hall of the South

2432 Toadsuck Hwy

Be sure to visit this newly remodeled dance hall.  The indoor plumbing, air conditioning, and ambient lighting are sure to set the mood for any family wedding or livestock show.

Thomas Jethro Tulley Denistry and Taxidermy

121 Moleskin Blvd

If you’re having trouble scheduling an appointment here in Lafayette, check out this dentist! Due to lack of teeth in the area, Dr. Tulley will be more than happy to work his magical skills on your teeth.

Demo's Barbecue and Smokehouse

1851 South Church Street

Demo's Barbecue and Smokehouse has a different yet unique cuisine.  Since they have the same special every night, you'll love the razorback ribeye.  Purty near the only dish where you don't mind a little hair on the meat!

Historic Jonesboro Christmas Light Junkyard

4876 Trash Pile Lane

The holidays are right around the corner! New York City’s Christmas decorations cannot compare to this stockpile! A must see is the Camaro dressed as Rudolph. It’s so precious!
