A Christmas Story: All Grown Up

This year the holiday classic film A Christmas Story has taken an endearing turn for me. I was honored to play the part of “grown up Ralph Parker” in the Acadia Players stage production of A Christmas Story. I am guessing it must be because of my amazing performance (tongue firmly in cheek, sarcasm overload) that there has suddenly become a web wide increase in interest about the movie.

“No one wanted to make it,” Billingsley says of the film today. “It was, you know, a kid wants a BB gun, not the greatest most cinematic pitch in the world.” Billingsley explains on “Nightline” that the movie’s director had to agree to make a separate horror film just to get the studio to make “A Christmas Story.”

See what Ralph and some of the others look like nearly 30 years later and don’t worry you won’t shoot your eye out.
