Move over Walmart, you've got company.

The American Consumer Satisfaction Index just released their annual report on people's feelings toward the biggest retail chains in the country. And kind of surprisingly, the most hated is Abercrombie & Fitch.

(I think that's the store that plays the loud music?)

Even the folks at ACSI were a bit shocked at the results.

"Normally when we see that kind of [result], it's a company so large it has monopoly power like Walmart or McDonald's. Abercrombie and Fitch is not that. They aren't that large. This can spell serious trouble for the company," an ACSI representative said.

The rest of the five most hated chains include Walmart, Giant Eagle, Albertson's/Safeway, and Rite Aid.

On the flip side, the top 5 chains that are the most loved are mostly grocery stores: Wegmans, Trader Joe's, H-E-B, Publix, and Amazon.
