The music community in Acadiana will be coming together for a great night of live music to benefit those affected by the recent historic floods.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 4th at the Evangeline Downs Event Center in Opelousas for the "Acadiana Strong" benefit concert. 100% of proceeds will go Community Foundation of Acadiana.

Music will start at 2pm and the lineup is as follows:

2:00pm-3:00pm - Dustin Sonnier
3:30pm-4:30pm - Atchafalaya
5:00pm-6:00pm - Louisiana's Leroux
6:30pm-7:30pm - Hunter Hayes
8:00pm-until - Wayne Toups with special guest Kix Brooks

Yep, you saw that right, Louisiana natives Hunter Hayes and Kix Brooks (of Brooks & Dunn) will be joining the party!

Entry fee will be a $10 donation at the door. There will also be an auction with some amazing items including autographed memorabilia.

Whether it be for just a little while or all afternoon and night long, please make plans to attend and help out your neighbors in need.


 

All proceeds and donations will benefit the Acadiana Disaster Response Fund at Community Foundation of Acadiana to help those affected by August's historic rains and devastating floods. CFA will work closely with federal, state and local agencies as well as nonprofit organizations and churches to benefit those affected in Acadiana.
