American Country Awards Nominations Are Out!

OK, yesterday we gave you the lowdown on the American Music Awards, and the nominees for country music categories. Today, more nominations are out for the American Country Awards! The event, hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenowith, goes live from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Monday, December 10, and will air on FOX. This is the second year for the awards, and it's right smack in the middle of the National Finals Rodeo, so there's sure to be tons of country music fans in town.

For the first time ever, fans will get to vote on "Song of the Year," which includes hit songs from Aldean, Lee Brice, Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter, Eli Young Band, Toby Keith, Eric Church, Ronnie Dunn, Tim McGraw and Adkins.

And we are proud to say that Acadiana's own Hunter Hayes was nominated for 3 awards-Music Video: New Artist, Single of the Year: New Artist, and Artist of the Year: New Artist. Congrats, Hunter!
