I grew up in a place where it snows a lot. I loved it when I was a kid. Things changed when I got a job. I've spent nearly my entire adult life in Acadiana and it's the place I'm pleased to call home. I raised my children here, and my grandson Nathan is growing up here. When I was a kid, my brothers & I would "camp out' on the porch on summer nights, listening to a portable AM radio. We got great reception of stations in New York, Boston & even WLS out of Chicago.
