There is one thing I always dread about heading to the beach for a summer vacation. That something is going through the tunnel on I-10 in Mobile, Alabama. I am not afraid of the tunnel, I just get very impatient with the traffic that stacks up in front of the tunnel when the roadway narrows down to two lanes.

Every now and then or if you're headed back toward Mississippi early on a Sunday morning you get a free shot to go fast through the tunnel in Mobile. That's when I play the "tunnel game". It's like honking your horn but you basically are making a continuous audible noise from the time you enter the tunnel until the time you leave. The goal is to keep the noise going the entire length of the tunnel. Even if you are speeding it requires a lot of lung power to accomplish that feat.

Babies probably have a totally different view of tunnels. They don't know about the traffic or the funny games. They just know where once it was light, it is now dark, then it is light again. I wonder if they are having flash backs to the day they were born? Regardless the expressions on these cute little faces had me laughing out loud.
