I need your help. I have a very dear friend who is getting married in July. I know, July in Louisiana and it's going to be an outside wedding.I guess the fiery pits of Hell must have been booked that day, it would probably be cooler.  That's another story for another time.

This story is about the music.

My friend and his soon to be blushing bride are both fans of Country Music as all flag waving red-blooded Americans should be. Because of my connection to the radio station, they asked me for suggestions on songs for the wedding.

So I did what any lazy butt DJ would do. I went "to the Google". You have to say that like your grandpa for full effect. I found that a website called Sounds Like Nashville had come up with 13 great suggestions.

The problem with the Sounds Like Nashville list is this. I think they left some great tunes out.

Obviously, our Louisiana list would have to include Take My Hand by Wayne Toups. What about I Cross My Heart by George Strait? Or maybe From This Moment On by Shania Twain?

How about Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts or maybe Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Byrd?

What other songs am I missing? My plan is to overload them with so many great songs that they will still be discussing the music when July gets here and they will have to postpone their nuptials until the weather gets cooler. By the way, they didn't like my first suggest of You're the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly. I am surprised I am still invited.
