Bicentennial Poster By STM Student Now On Sale

Katie Atkins, a junior at St. Thomas More High School, created the official poster of the Louisiana Bicentennial "What We're Made Of," for the George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts' annual scholarship art contest, and now her work will  be displayed across our beautiful state of Louisiana to celebrate the  200th birthday. We couldn't be more proud that a local Acadiana girl is getting the spotlight for the beautiful poster design. Way to go, Katie!

The posters, which cost $20, are being sold at Louisiana Bicentennial events and online at LouisianaBicentennial2012.com. Proceeds from the sales fund the commission's educational programs and advertisements for the bicentennial celebration.
