It's been almost 22 years since Billy Ray Cyrus' hit 'Achy Breaky Heart' was unleashed to country radio, but the singer may be bringing the song back ... in a decidedly non-country way.

'Achy Breaky Heart' is still the country crooner's biggest hit to date and it has been translated to more than 100 languages, spending five weeks atop the Billboard Country chart. Now, it seems he's given it a slight makeover -- a hip-hop makeover, that is.

Larry King revealed the news to the Twitterverse, saying, "Just spoke with @billyraycyrus on the phone - he's recorded a hip-hop version of 'Achy Breaky Heart' - he's excited about it & so am I!"

Although the 52-year-old has concentrated more heavily on acting and less on music as of late, the re-release of 'Achy Breaky Heart' is sure to spark some buzz with country fans, and probably hip-hop fans, as well.

Cyrus' daughter Miley has topped headlines lately, but now her dad has a chance to make some waves himself. And if he for some reason decides not to release it, there will be a lot of achy break hearts!
