Billy Ray Cyrus Headed To Broadway

Billy Ray Cyrus is making his Broadway debut in "Chicago."

The singer of "Achy Breaky Heart" and father of Miley Cyrus is detouring from his Nashville roots in taking on the role of criminal lawyer Billy Flynn for a seven-week engagement beginning Nov. 5.

Actually I think this is a perfect fit for Billy Ray. He has reinvented himself time and time again, with great sucess. Let's face it, he doesn't need the money, he's just a hard working guy who's exploring another chapter in his life. Good for him! I love Billy Ray because he is a very generous guy who always gives back. Good luck on Broadway, Billy Ray!
