'The Voice' judges Blake Shelton and Adam Levine talk tough, and had planned on hazing the two new judges Usher and Shakira, but they decided against it. Turns out they just didn't have the heart to go through with it.

Maroon 5 frontman Levine tells Rolling Stone, "They kind of took the wind out of our sails because they were so, like, damn nice and amazing and cool." Apparently, Usher and Shakira got on the good side of the two bromantic partners-in-crime, although Shelton jokingly (we hope) says, "I had already peed on Usher's toothbrush before I realized what a cool guy he is..."

The two seasoned judges do reveal they want the newbies to teach them how to dance, and we're pretty certain the always smooth Usher and hip-shakin' Shakira will be able to give them a few pointers on how to get their groove on.

It's exciting to see the level of fun Shelton and Levine have with each other, as they continue to joke with each other throughout the interview, complimenting each other on their hair and even their stubble. Stubble? Yes, stubble!

Levine compliments Shelton, declaring, "I like your level of stubble."

You can get your fill of all four judges (and stubble) on Season 4 of ‘The Voice,' which begins  Mar. 25 on NBC, with hopefully no hazing in sight for the newcomers.
