NOLA Bowl Invitation To Come at Halftime of Ragin’ Cajuns Basketball Game Tonight

Tonight at the Cajundome Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns basketball team will be hosting the Jackson State Tigers at 7:00pm. The Cajuns return home after four straight tough road games.

The Cajuns come into the game with a record of 2-3 while Jackson State is only 1-5.

We of course want you to come out and support Coach Bob Marlin's squad. That's a given.

But you will also get the first official word of the UL football teams bowl plans. It is expected that at halftime the Cajuns will get the official invitation to the 2014 R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.

The game is set for 10am on Saturday, December 20th at the  Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. The opponent is unknown at this time. The bowl has tie-ins to the Sun Belt and Western Athletic Conference so a team from that conference is the likely opponent.

Whoever the Cajuns play, for a fourth straight year we will be partying in the Big Easy! Ticket orders are now being accepted at the Ragin' Cajuns athletics website. And we will have complete NOLA Bowl coverage including all the fun events leading up to bowl game on 97.3 The Dawg and 973thedawg.com.
