As a rule I like all animals. I don't think being cruel to any of the Good Lord's creations is a good way to act. That being said, I am about to reach the end of my wits when it comes to my neighbor's cats.

As cats go they are just regular cats. They keep my dog entertained and give him something to chase when they show up our yard. The problem I am having with the darn cats is this.

Every now and then I have to park my car outside on the driveway. When I do park outside the cats see my vehicle as a perfect place to sit, sleep and perhaps make torrid amounts of cat love. How do I know this? My car is covered in dirty, dusty, muddy cat paw prints. Do you have any suggestions as to how to keep these critters off of my car? I am wondering is there some kind of spray that might encourage them to choose another place to play besides my car?

Somebody suggested a I use mirrors to scare the cats away. Another listener suggested I get an air horn and honk it at the cats when they get near the car. That won't work because they only show up when I am asleep. Another listener told me that their cats are scared of leaf blowers and weed whackers. That wouldn't work because if I came after the cats with a weed whacker or leaf blower at 2am my neighbors would be looking for a way to get rid of me.

Remember I don't want to hurt them, I just want to mess with their heads and make them think of my car as a really bad place for a cat to be. Any help you can suggest I would be most grateful to hear about.
