Breakout singer-songwriter Cam will hopefully take the stage twice at the 2016 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 15). She'll present an award at the event, and her song "Burning House" is also nominated.

"Burning House" is among the great songs in the Best Solo Country Performance category. The song was Cam's first platinum single and first No. 1 hit. She found out about the nomination in a surprisingly casual way, she says.

“Isn’t it funny that you find out because people just text you?” Cam told Taste of Country. "I guess they all get up really early and check that site or something. I don’t even know. I haven’t been to the site so I just hope everyone’s correct."

Her full-length album Untamed was released Dec. 11 as the follow up to her EP, This Is Cam Country, which made a splash in the country world last year. Cam's current single, “Mayday,” has been released to country radio and is picking up momentum.

Cam is will be on the Somewhere on a Beach Tour with Dierks Bentley alongside Randy Houser starting this spring, which Bentley was thrilled to announce.

“I met Cam for the first time at her album release party. I went to it because I was intrigued about who she is and I love her first single. She’s so poised. She’s so funny. She’s so natural on stage … I feel like I got really lucky getting her on the tour, she’s awesome,” he gushed.

Tune in to the Grammys to catch Cam at the podium Feb. 15 at 8PM on CBS.
