New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan is in the midst of a career best season.

Today, he was honored by the NFL as the NFC Defensive Player of the Month.

With a team-high 10 sacks (6th best in NFL) and 6 passes defensed, the two-time Pro Bowler had made plays all season for the resurgent New Orleans defense.. He is 5th on the squad in tackles, and has an interception return for a touchdown.

In the month of November, he wreaked havoc on opposing offensive lineman and quarterbacks, tallying 4.5 sacks, 13 solo tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 6 quarterback hits,  and 2 passes defensed in 4 games.

Jordan is the first defensive end in franchise history to earn the Conference Player of the Month award.
