Cam got to duet with one of her favorite musical idols on Monday night (March 20): The country newcomer joined folk rocker Melissa Etheridge onstage during the evening's female-focused episode of Skyville Live, the recurring livestreaming concert series. Click play above to watch the pair's rocking rendition of Etheridge's 1994 hit "Come to My Window."

Prior to their performance, Etheridge called Cam "one of country's shining new acts," while the rising singer-songwriter added, "It's gonna make my life," before they began a raucous performance of "Come to My Window," a Grammys-winning song from Etheridge's fourth studio album, Yes I Am. Their duet is full of power, grit and mutual admiration.

The performance of "Come to My Window" from Skyville Live wasn't Etheridge's first time performing the hit song with a country artist: In 2003, Etheridge teamed up with Dolly Parton (another of Cam's musical inspirations) for an episode of CMT Crossroads, during which the country icon brought her signature twang to the song, with stellar results.

For Women's History Month, Skyville Live's Monday night show brought together some of the music industry's groundbreaking female voices to perform together. In addition to Etheridge and Cam, Lindsay Ell, Orianthi and Troi Irons all took the stage during the concert.

Cam is currently working on her sophomore album and preparing to open for George Strait during his Las Vegas residency. The "Burning House" singer recent spoke at a TEDx conference in Reno, Nev., about the power of music.
